National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi was established in 2010.
It has been established to further the cause of legal education in its manifold spheres of knowledge, development and dissemination coupled with the capacity building of state and non state institutions specializing in relevant legal technological interrelationship and above all strengthening the legal system at all levels.
A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at National University of Study and Research in its various departments.
NUSRL was established to develop a holistic perspective of legal education in all its ramifications particularly advocacy, judicial and legal institutional services, legislations, law reforms and all the research in these areas.
The social and political milieu at present requires an interdisciplinary approach for law and its knowledge and obviously in globalised world comparative analysis of the law and legal institutions.
The University has been crafted with a vision to revolutionize the legal education so that the lawyers of tomorrow are fully geared to face ever emerging national and international legal challenges.
