National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology Imphal Centre (NIEITIC), Imphal was established in 1974.

This college is affilaited to NBSE.

formerly DoEACC Centre Imphal. The institute was started as an autonomous organization under the Dept of Electronics (now Ministry of Communications & information Technology) Govt. of India.

The prime objective of the NILEIT, is to bring the most updated global industry relevant computer education, within the reach of more and more.

The institutes is embarking on starting new courses during the current year itself in the areas of 3D Design and Animation & Multimedia, VLSI Design Technology, Courses on Cyber Security.

The objective was to bridge the gap between the academic institutions and industries by turning out Electronics/Computer Engineers specially trained in Product design.
