About National Institute of Design & Development

National Institute of Design & Development, Delhi was established in 1990 by country's leading fashion Technologist Rajesh Aggarwal, who himself has a vast experience in the field off fashion in India and also in Europe & America.

The Institute believes in the philosophy that "Design is creation in or alteration of the world to meet the needs and desires of people.

Its key components are innovation, responsiveness of its teaching and learning, research, partnerships and international activities.

NIDD aims to produce highly employable graduates of the highest possible quality in areas of fashion, Interior, Jewellery and Graphic Design.

The Institute has forged strong links with the government, Punjab Technical University and with industry for both academics and placements.

NIDD has embraced Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement and has been duly awarded ISO 9001: 2000 certificate.
