National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur was established in 1956.

This college is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.

NFSC awards certificate, diploma and advanced diploma on successful completion of the course, which are recognized by the state and central government as well as the public sector undertaking and the business community as well.

 In addition, the diploma and advanced diploma of NFSC is also recognized by the Union Public Service Commission for appointment in the middle management cadre. The degree program of this college aims at producing complete Fire and Safety Professionals with the requisite theoretical as well as practical knowledge base.
