The MYRA School of Business is a Global Indian Business School—global in its vision and Indian in its mission.

Established in 2012 in Mysore under the aegis of the Mysore Royal Academy (MYRA), the school`s avant-garde and architecturally acclaimed campus was inaugurated on November 4th, 2012 by Padma Bhushan Deepak Parekh, Chairman of HDFC.

Its founding batch was launched by Mrs. Meera Sanyal, Chairperson, Royal Bank of Scotland in June 2013.

MYRA was founded in 2010, by an educationally enlightened group of thinkers led by Prof. Shalini Urs, Executive Director, International School of Information Management, University of Mysore and Prof. D. Shrijay Devaraj Urs, Registrar, University of Mysore who have distinguished themselves across the academic life cycle of teaching, research, administration, and accreditation.
