Munnar Catering College, Trivandrum was established in 2003.

Its Affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology 

Its managed by Thachankary Foundation a Trust governed by Indian Trust Act, 1882 and promoted by Royal Group of Companies, a multi facetted conglomerate engaged in Education, Aviation, Shipping, Advertising, Plantation, Communication, Hotel, Resorts, Travel & Tourism Industries.

The International Campus of Munnar Catering College and Royal Community College are located at 6500 ft. The college was established with a vision of giving a new dimension to the hospitality education, which no one has ever experienced.

The Management is determined in maintaining an excellent academic ambience, discipline and environment in the campus ideal for an educational institution of excellence.

The college is the first self financing Catering College of Kerala approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India and Directorate of Technical Education Government of Kerala.
