M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Bengaluru was also known as MSRCASC, Bengaluru Urban was established on 1st June 1994 by Late Dr. M.S. Ramaiah. It is now under the Umbrella of Gokula Education Foundation.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Bangalore University, Bengaluru and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is also recognized and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi to offer Management courses and re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (CGPA Score 3.06 on a 4 Point Scale in 3rd Cycle) on 3rd November 2015.

Dr. Mathikere Sampangi Ramaiah, a noted entrepreneur and gifted visionary of Karnataka founded Gokula Education Foundation in the year 1962. A highly industrious person, blessed with a clear and focused approach, he saw to it that a galaxy of educational institutions came into existence, encompassing every field of education.

In 1994, Following Engineering and Medical colleges, M.S.Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce (MSRCASC) was established for general education.

Dr. M S Ramaiah laid a strong foundation upon which the board of management including Hon‘ble Directors Sri. M R Janakiram and Sri M R Kodandaram built the college with single minded devotion.

The Chief Executive Sri S.M.Acharya is instrumental in the decision making of each and every activity of the college and contributes to the status the college enjoys today.

The enormous growth of MSRCASC unravels the realistic vision to cater to the needs of students in all areas of education coming true. The hall marks of MSRCASC are loyalty and whole hearted commitment to the mission of molding, chiseling and completing the character of youth.

This college has enabled its students to distinguish themselves in various fields, namely Science, Commerce, and Humanities.

At present, the college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, & Management streams with various specializations and also offers two years postgraduate courses in Science & Management streams with various specializations under Bangalore University, Bengaluru. It also offers Certificate/Add-On courses.
