MR DAV College of Education, Rohtak was established in October 2006. The campus is spread over 3 acres of land at 5th K.M. Stone, Sonepat Road, Rohtak, which is well connected with rail and road transport.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Jind formerly affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (in 1st Cycle) on 8th July 2013.

It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur to offer B.Ed., M.Ed. & D.Ed. courses. It is also approved by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi for B.Ed. Spl. Edu. (MR) & D.Ed. Spl. Ed (MR) courses.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level.

But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
