Mount Tabor Training College, Kollam was established in 1960.

The College got first rank at the B.Ed Degree examinations in 1976, ‘89 and ‘96 and has instituted a number of prizes such as Dr. George Memorial Prize, the Mar Thoma Dionysius Prize etc.
