Moradabad Institute of Technology (MIT), Moradabad was established in 1996 by Moradabad Educational Trust under the self financing scheme of the Government of India.

MIT is a National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accredited college.

It is affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
