Modern D.Ed College, Rohtak was established in 2007.

The college is affiliated to State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

The aim of the college is to develop skills required in selecting and organizing learning experiences and to develop skills involved in dealing with the academic problems of learners. Qualified teachers are associated with the college, in order to impart quality education.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating body State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Modern D.Ed College, Rohtak in its various departments.
