Modern College of Professional Studies (MCPS), Ghaziabad is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Established in 2003.

It is an institute which empowers you towards specialization in management, information technology and education. It help you to expand your knowledge & enhance skills to achieve success. MCPS is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh (CCS) University. formerly known as Meerut University for imparting education for  Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Education (M.Ed.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (BTC) courses. All the teacher education courses are approved by N.C.T.E. and the college follows guidelines of council as laid by them to conduct teacher education programms. Our college is accredited as "B+" Grade by NAAC.

 It was set up under the sponsorship of Ganesh Shiksha Samiti, which a registered non-profit body. The campus of the college is spread over an area of 1.217 acres. The institute conducts a teacher education programme at undergraduate (UG) level. It also runs courses in other disciplines.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

To Prevent sexual harassment and to promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non teaching women staff at Modern College.

To create social awareness about the problems of women and in particular regarding gender discrimination.

To encourage participation of NGOs working in the area of women's development in the activities of the Cell.

To provide a Safe Working Environment in which women and girls can work and study without threats to their security.

To safeguard the issues concering all women and girls working or studying in the institute.

To deal with the case of Sexual / Psychological / Emotional Harassment in an appropriate manner.

To organize seminars, workshops for creating general awareness and orientation of students, teachers, non teaching staff or their active and sustained participation in the activities of Cell.

To organize various types of training programmes and create awareness about self-employment schemes for the encouragement of self-reliance among women.

To uphold the dignity of women at college campus.

To faciliate a gender-sensitive and congenial working environment at MCPS so that an employee (contractual, casual, temporary and permanent) or student is not subjected to gender-specific discrimination or any form of harassment.

To ensure that victims and witnesses are not discriminated or penalized for lodging complaints.

To take proactive measures to educate the MCPS community about gender-sensitivity.
