Midnapore Law College was established in 2002.

Its managed by the Governing Body of Midnapore College, which is one of the oldest and premier educational institutes in India.

The college of law is managed and run by Midnapore Education & Service Society and is affiliated to Vidyasagar University, Midnapore.

Midnapore Law College is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi.

Midnapore Law College imparts quality legal education to create talented and competent lawyers from the region.

To achieve its aim, the college conducts law programs at the undergraduate degree level - Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a three- year full time program and B. A. LL. B. (Hons.), a five-year integrated program.

Both these courses are offered according to the rules and regulations of BCI.
