MGM Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai was established in 2003 and over the years, it has grown by leaps and bounds to become one of the  most respected and highly accomplished dental college.

The Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust has always lived by the philosophy of Gandhiji to serve humanity, with a thought to uplift the dental health of the population of Navi Mumbai & to impart quality dental education.The Dental college was established in 2001 and had been approved and recognized by the Dental council of India. MGM Dental college commenced its first academic session in 2003 with a batch of 100 students. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of health sciences, Nasik. The courses offered are recognized by the dental council of India.

The institution conducts courses in BDS, MDS and Fellowship. It has an intake capacity of 100 students for BDS. The courses are affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) Nashik.

This college is one of the most zealous and dynamic institution, priding itself with the best assemblage of staff who form its pillars. This state of art institution offers students the best possible clinical education complemented by opportunities not only in research and community service, but also in an array of co-curricular activities, which help mould the students into a better and a distinguished person.

MGM Dental College is the first dental college in India to have is very own Dental Journal being published.
