Its affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by the government of Kerala.
The college is part of The Muslim Educational Society (MES), Kozhikkod and is a self-financed college,The Management has the vision of developing this institution into a premier centre of academic excellence by giving top priority to post graduate studies and research.
It also envisages the upliftment of the socially and economically down-trodden students to have access to the highest academic accomplishments in their own areas of interest.
