Mercury Teacher Training Institute, Vellore was established in 2006.

Its affiliated to Bharathiar University.

The College is managed under Devarajulu Dhanalakshmi Educational Trust.

Devarajulu Dhanalakshmi Educational Trust was established in 1984 with 2 Members ( Mrs.M.Lalitha Mohanan & Mr.D.Sathya Narayanan ) to serve for the cause of Education for the past 26 Years.

The Trust established a Primary School with 25 students in Chennai in 1984. Mercury Teacher’s Training Institute was established in Five acres of land with the Approval of NCTE (Delhi) we have also obtained Tamil Nadu State Government Approval & Staff Approval from the Teacher’s Training institute of Research.

The College Motto is to develop the students to accommodate themselves to the Existing Modern Trends and to achieve good positions in all walks of life.
