Meppayur Salafi College of Teacher Education, Calicut was established in 1995.

The college as a Professional College dedicated to the education of teachers under the leadership of Salafiyya Association Meppayur (Regd).

Since 1995 this college is imparting quality Education to Teacher Trainees.

Meppayur Salafi College of Teacher Education has a glorious past with a rich academic tradition and excellence.

The College is recognized by the Govt.of Kerala affiliated to the University of Calicut and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education.

The College is situating in a beautiful wide plot extending 16.5 acres land in Kuluppa hills near Kuttiady River and 8 Km away from the nearest town Payyoli Nearest railway stations are Koyilandy and Vatakara.

Meppayur Salafi College of Teacher Education was esatablished by the Salafiyya Association mainly to impart Secondary Teachers Training to the educationally backward communities of Koyilandy and Vatakara Taluk of kozhikode District with special reference to Muslims.
