Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy Institute of Technology and Science (MeRITS), Nellore was established in 2009.

The college is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantpur and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Vision and Mission:

To develop the institute with high degree of academic standards and acquire the status of Deemed University in near future.

To create educational facilities in this developing rural area such that more economically backward young brains get an opportunity to acquire higher qualifications. Trust is also planning to start a Centre for Vocational Courses in separate campus for training the rural youth in job oriented courses.
