Meenakshi College of Nursing, Chennai was established in 2003.

The College believes in preparing the professional nurse to function as a clinician, educator, administrator and research worker involved in promoting health, preventing diseases and providing rehabilitation.

The M.Sc degree programme in nursing is to equip the graduates with advanced concepts and competency to function efficiently and effectively in providing health care and education and contribute to professional development through research. The faculty believe that the students will acquire knowledge and skills through self directed and independent learning utilizing all the available resources.

Meenakshi Ammal Trust has its own 150 bedded General Hospital in the College campus and also a 500 bedded hospital in Meeenakshi Medical College and Research Institute at Enathur, Kanchipuram with all the specialties functioning with sophisticate equipments.
