Mediciti Institute Of Medical Sciences (MIMS),Ghanpur was established in 2002.

Its affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences.

The college was started with annual intake of 100 students.The college has started functioning from 17th October 2002 following admission of 1st batch of students of 100.

Medical Council of India has accorded permission for the 1st batch on 26th August 2002 vide letter No. U.12012/111/2000-ME (P-II) dated 6th August 2002, Govt of India, Min of Health & FW. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and recognized by the Ministry of Health & Welfare, Government of India.

There is the right blend of youth and experience in faculty members, both in medical and pre-medical courses.Medicity Institute of Medical Sciences is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh.

The medical college admits students in its undergraduate course in the field of medical sciences that is, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

The college enrolls students to 100 seats, every year. Campus :- MIMS campus is spread over an area of 40 acres in the Mediciti campus of 200 acres, in lush greenery, hillocks & lake, only 30 km away from Hyderabad city, on Nagpur Highway No. 7.

A 360 bedded multi-specialty MediCiti Hospital functioning at Ghanpur since 1992 is attached to MIMS.
