MC Khalsa College of Education, Jammu was established in 2004.
The college is permanently affiliated to University of Jammu with a sanctioned strength of 300 students for imparting instructions in Bachelor of Education Course.
The college is also recoganised by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
The college being a minority status institution is authorised to make admissions upto 50% of total intake at its own. Remaining 50% seats are filled through University of Jammu.
The admissions are done strictly on merit basis.
The college has performed outstandingly through all these years rolling out the record number of positions and distinctions with a pass percentage of over 98% every year.
The college draws its name from the Maharani Chand Kour who was brave daughter-in-law of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and wife of Maharaja Kharak Singh.
