Mayurbhanj Medical Academy (MMA), Baripada was established in 1992.

The institute was started with an objective to promotes Pharmaceutical education & to create skilled competent technical paramedical persons to mitigate the demand for health care sysytem in the country and abroad.

The institute is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The institute is affiliated to Orissa State Board of Pharmacy, Bhubaneswar.
