MATS School of Engineering and Information Technology, Raipur was established in 2008.
The 21st Century is an era of great global challenges including climate change, booming populations, increased levels of consumptions and demand for resources, to name but a few. These challenges create tremendous opportunities for new generations of engineers, who will be called upon to take leading roles in developing and driving their solutions.
The goal of the MATS School of Engineering and Information Technology is not only to provide you with a top notch education, but to provide you an atmosphere where people work in harmony to help each other and build upon everyone’s strength. We strive to provide you with a skill set that is valuable in the work place. This is done through interaction in learning between you and the professors. The interaction only begins there since you will also be encouraged to engage with fellow students and our amazing staff.
The MATS School of Engineering and Information Technology provides students with a strong foundation for their engineering careers and offers engineering students a wide range of quality resources. All of the programs will give a broad range of skills to help you design, create and solve the most challenging problems. Our curriculums ensure graduates are highly sought after by employers.

MATS will be the Global University, known for the quality academic programs and outstanding faculty, products, and services to students and clients independent of place and time constraints. MATS University will be a benchmark institution for lifelong partnerships with students, the workforce, and public and private enterprises. Building on its proud tradition, MATS University will extend educational opportunities to those who will make our state (Chhattisgarh), our nation, and global society a better place to live and work.
MISSION
Under these courses, the specializations will be present in selected science subjects at the Postgraduate level. Knowledge and information of advanced level subjects will be conveyed, which will lead to teaching, research, or industrial profession.
In addition to the regular subjects (like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany) some new subjects such as -
MATS University prides itself with NAAC accreditation and all the necessary approvals for its international community of students and the faculty providing an exciting, colorful campus life for everyone. Students from various states are represented in the student body.
MATS University offers multiple undergraduate programmes across 14 faculties, covering multidisciplinary areas of study. We aim to provide students with a broad-based education across different disciplines with a global perspective, in order to develop students' intellectual and personal strengths.
We expect the best out of our students, through excellence in learning and teaching, thus seeking to develop graduates of international distinction. Students have the chance to learn under the expert guidance of from faculty from IIT, IIM, IIIT, NIT and Nationally ranked institutions of excellence (leading academics), and by studying at a research-oriented university they learn research techniques from undergraduate level.
With our programmes, students are able to develop skills and knowledge relevant to present-day issues. They develop problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate—skills that are invaluable for further study, employment and be world ready.
