Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT), Bulandshahar was established in 1999. Its affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT) Aurangabad is an academic institution run by Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal (GSM), Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India which is the parent trust (Organization) established in 1975.

Marathwada Institute of Technology has been established in 1984 to cater the technical education in the rural part of Maharashtra. The institution spreads over 13 acres of land with separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. This Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, Raigarh, Maharashatra, the state technical university popularly known as BATU. The institution offers B. Tech. programmes in five disciplines and an Architecture program. Post-Graduation programs are also offered in Engineering & Technology, Computer Applications and Architecture. The Institute has a University recognized Ph.D. Research Center in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. More than 2500 full time & part time students are on campus for availing graduate and post graduate education and doing Ph.D. research.

The institute has excellent quality infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories. Well qualified faculties from IITs, NITs and reputed organizations are available in the institute. The faculty members are motivated and dedicated to create and provide a conducive learning environment in the Institute. Institute participates in national and international exhibitions and presents students projects and research contributions/activities where the institute has been recognized by the organizers and won prizes at national level. Students are encouraged to actively participate in National and State level co-curricular and extracurricular activities like SAE BAJA, SUPRA, ROBOCON etc.

Institute has a close connect with the local industries near the city at Waluj and Chikalthana MIDC areas. By serving as a catalyst for Industry-Academic partnerships, the Institute attempts to bring intellectual capital and emerging technologies together to improve quality of Engineering & Technology education.

Institute has collaborated with several other international/national reputes of organizations through MOUs and research collaborations to provide a conductive environment for learning and research on the campus. Faculty members have research projects to their credit funded by Government organizations like DST and RGSTC. Several industries from local and national presence do visit institute as recruiters to conduct campus placements and offer attractive packages.
