Karmveer Ganpat Dada More Arts, Commerce & Science College, Niphad (Dist. Nashik) was also known as Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's K.G.D.M. Arts, Commerce & Science College, Niphad was established in June 1971 and managed under Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj which is established in 1914.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune in June 1983 and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
 
It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.84 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 13th August 2011.

The aim of the college is inculcating gender equality in a rural area, social awareness, scientific temperament, cleanliness, awareness about environmental issues also to prepare students to take their rightful place in society and contribute to national development.

The Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj has been established numbers of colleges/schools for the student in the region of Maharashtra and all over the India.

Today it is the biggest Educational Institute of Nashik District and has its own Colleges, Schools, Hostels, Ashram Shalas and Printing Press that cater to the educational needs of the urban and rural population.

It is co-educational private institute, providing a regular course which is located in a rural part of Nashik played a pioneering role in the field of higher education. the campus is located in another city also has a different name of institutions.

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the Admission Criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.

The college offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, & Management stream with various specializations for the students. It has three academic programs i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science at an undergraduate level.

The college offers two years postgraduate courses in Master of Arts (M.A.), Economics and Master of Commerce (M.Com.).
