Manohar Memorial College of Education, Fatehabad was established on 23rd August 2004 under the management of Manohar Memorial Education Society.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Jind formerly affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (in 1st Cycle) on 21st April 2012.

Under the welfare of social workers of society, intellectuals’ category and skilled managing committee, today this institute is forwarding towards its 8th session. Its seed was sown by Late Shri Mehta Khemraj Ji Batra in the memory of his only son, Shri Manohar Batra.

Today this plant has taken the form of an enlarged Garden and carved an important mark on the educational map of the state of Haryana and comes in the list of topmost educational institutes of Haryana.

This college was auspiciously started with B.Ed course in the year 2004. That time the course was started with 100 seats only. In the year 2007, D.Ed course was also started along with B.Ed course.

In 2008, the college has an intake of 100 more seats of B.Ed course from NCTE. Today this institute is preparing 300 would be teachers every year and it is a matter of great privilege for the college in itself.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level.

But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating body State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
