Malik Sandal Institute of Art & Architecture (SECAB), Bijapur established in 1991.

It was named after “Malik Sandal” a 16th century renowned architect of the adilshahi period with the permission of the Govt. of Karnataka, under G.O No. ED-157 UDC 91 affiliated to the VTU (Visweswaraya Technological University) Belgaum, Karnataka and approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) New Delhi.

It envisions aspiring to be internationally top-ranking centre of excellence in teaching and research of Architectural subjects.

The main aim of the college is to provide quality education to students & research scholars so as to produce architects & scholars with design acumen, who will lead their chosen careers; imparting students the intellectual merit.

Their aim is to cultivate a balanced portfolio of research of the highest quality, maintaining world-class research repute so as to attract the best staff who will, in turn, enhance our international standing.
