has been named after Mahatma Hans Raj Ji, the forefather of DAV Movement a great visionary, an embodiment of dedication, devotion and self abnegation who worked honorary as founder Headmaster of the first
DAV High School at Lahore. He served the Society in various capacities without accepting a penny as remuneration. Mahatma Hans Raj Ji, the pioneer of Arya Samaj and DAV movement played a pivotal role in the enlistment of women folk of India.
Apart from imparting conventional education to the students, the DAV Institutions make sincere efforts to awaken social and moral consciousness among them. In order to add one more link in the vast chain of institutions, the DAV College Managing Committee decided to start Mahatma Hans Raj DAV Institute of Nursing at Jalandhar.
The main objective of this course (B.Sc. Nursing) is to provide properly qualified services in an area where deficiency has been acutely felt.
This institution will cater local as well as Global needs by educating and training well qualified Nurses.
