Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Institute of Commerce, Ajmer is a part of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University and approved by UGC.

The young college aims to foster the development of commerce education at university campus.

Academic programme intends to equip students with the requisite training and education in issues relating to economic administration and financial management of private and public sector organisation.

College presently focuses on Cooperation as a mechanism to supplement the developing economy. 

The department intends to employs modern teaching pedagogy which includes case studies, role plays, projects, seminars, presentations, discussions, etc.

The teaching at the department will be through the use of latest teaching technologies like OHP, Multi-media, Audio-visual aids, DVD/VCD players, etc.
