Maharishi University of Management and Technology (MUMT), Bilaspur was established in 2002. Its affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University.

Maharishi University of Management and Technology (MUMT), Mangla, Bilaspur (C.G) was established vide Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operations) (Amendment) Act 2018 and received the assent of Hon’ble Governor of C.G. on 13th April 2018 followed by publication of Chhattisgarh Gazette (Extraordinary) on 17th April 2018. Dr. Girish Chandra Varma as Chancellor and Dr. Pankaj T. Chande as Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Vijay Garudik are appointed as the Registrar of Maharishi University of Management and Technology.

The Statutes and Ordinances of the University were approved by the C.G. State Government on 14 October 2019.

Maharishi University of Management and Technology (MUMT), Mangla, Bilaspur (C.G) is the First Private University in Bilaspur City and MUMT has created requisite infrastructure, Hostel Facility, Wi-Fi Campus, well equipped laboratory, and Eco-friendly campus with playgrounds.

Educational excellence should be defined as the process of culturing the individual to display perfection in life. Educational excellence should enable any individual to spontaneously utilise the total Creative Intelligence of Natural Law. All his thoughts, speech, and actions will be spontaneously upheld by the silent power of peace that permeates all activity in the universe.
