Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Sciences (MIONS), Latur was established in 2005.

The college is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

It is one of the educational units of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering education and Research (MAEER), which is a Society. Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Sciences imparts undergraduate level programme in the field of nursing, that is, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing.

The four-year full time programme is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), Government of India and recognized by the Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC), Mumbai. Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Sciences has a number of basic amenities within its sprawling campus.
