Maharana Pratap Dental College & Hospital, Kanpur was established in 2005.

The college is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. 

under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ram Singh Bhadauria, and his son, Mr. Shailendra Bhadauria, (Secretary, MPGI) with a strong vision of fulfilling all aspirations of young professionals in the field of dentistry.

The intake is 100 students per year, permitted by DCI.

The vision of MPDC is to fulfil the aspirations of those students who wish to obtain a professional education in the field of dentistry and to strive for excellence in dental education, practice, community service and research.

The Institute aims to develop and to raise dental professionals in advancing oral health care. The institutional campus is spread over a huge area of 10 acres of land.
