Maharaja Arts and Science College was established in 1998. It  is an affiliated college to Bharathiar University. 

Its maintained  by the Paramasivam Palanisamy Charitable Trust, Erode,The Maharaja institutions is devoted to provide international education in a regimented and gusto milieu more on practical than the theory, to with stand in the new era to compete with international arena and it provokes the scholars to realize the social responsibility and human welfare.

Maharaja Arts and Science College was established in the year 1998 by the Paramasivam Palanisamy Charitable Trust, Erode. The Institution is recognized by the UGC under 2(f) & 12(B), approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The Founder-Chairman of the college is Thiru.K.Paramasivam, B.Sc., who is a renowned industrialist, reputed educationalist and benevolent philanthropist. Along with his Illustrious son, Thiru.P.Sathiyamoorthy, B.E., M.B.A., M.S., who is our dynamic Secretary & Correspondent, he is making indelible marks of achievements and accolades and is rendering yeomen service to the cause of higher education in the fields of Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce and Management.

The Maharaja institutions is to shape and mould the knowledge, skill and attributes of the young men and women through novel instructions, with the help of proficient faculty, to nourish and flourish in the futuristic society for the betterment of our country.

The campus of the institution spreads an area of around 60,000 sq.ft with various facilities to enrich student’s ethical values on academic and social, at Neelambur.
