Mahakal Institute Of Pharmaceutical Studies (MIPS), Ujjain was established in 2002.

The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognized by Director of Technical Education, Govt. of M.P., Bhopal.
