M.S.N. Degree College, Kakinada was established in 1971.

Its affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Acceditated by NAAC with 'B' Grade.

In the early 19th an illiterate fisherman of (Agnikula Kshatriya) who battle with both penury and tidal waves in his early life and later became a crorepathi, dreamt of dedicating his life to the efflorescence of knowledge, wisdom and philosophy through the temples of learning. A junior College with Arts, Commerce, Science groups was established in 1969. While a degree college with Arts and later with commerce (1971) and science (1984) was started. The trust also donated a 40 acres land to the Andhra University Post Graduate Extension centre, Kakinada and was named the late Sri Malladi Satyalingam Naicker. It is no wonder that a lesson dealing with the nobility of character and munificence of this illiterate educationist was prescribed for IX Class pupils by the Education Department, Andhra Pradesh.
