M.N. College of Arts and Commerce, Mehsana was established in 1946 with help of a generous donation of Late Sheth Shri Maneklal Nanchand was like an oasis in the desert, a temple of "Saraswati" for so many high school educated youths of North Gujarat.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).

M.N. College was the only government college of their kind in the whole region between Ahmedabad and Ajmer. It is still a matter of great pride that the college has as their first Principal Shree V.K.Gokak, a Gyanpith Award winner, a well-known Poet, and Professor of English, who nurtured and nourished the college in their childhood.

M.N. College became soon famous as a great center of culture and learning under the stewardship of Shree Gokak, who fondly called it The Princess of Desert.

The institute offers three years degree courses in Arts & Commerce stream under Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. It also offers some Certificate courses and Add-on courses.
