Lourdes Matha Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Thiruvananthapuram was established by the Lourdes Matha Catholic Educational Society (LMCES) is under the Archdiocese of Changanassery. LMIHMCT was established primarily to impart quality education in the field of Hotel management.

The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
