Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai was established in 1994, is named after the great freedom fighter of India - Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak.

The College has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and recognized by the govt. of Maharashtra and it is affiliated to the Mumbai University.

Over the years, the college gained recognition as a renowned centre of excellence in Engineering education.
