Lohia College, Churu was established in 1945 at intermediate level with just 47 students.

Its affiliated to Avadh University.

It was shifted to the present location in 1949 when it was upgraded to graduation level in commerce stream.

Accredited B+ grade by the NAAC team of UGC in 2004 this college also has been selected by the Govt. of Rajasthan as a model college for being a centre for excellence.

Lohia College is one of the best and the oldest co-educational college in Rajasthan state.
