Lakshmi Ammal School of Nursing (LMSN), Chengalpattu was established in 1998.

It is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical.

Lakshmi Ammal School of Nursing is approved by Government of Tamil Nadu and Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi.

The institute conducts General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course, which includes 6 months as internship period.
