Lakhimpur Commerce College, Lakhimpur was established in 1972 with an aim of creating a distinct entity in commerce education in the whole north bank of the Brahmaputra.

The college has been accredited B+ Grade by NAAC. Its affiliated to Dibrugarh University. The college offers courses in commerce and arts streams.

Lakhmipur Commerce College was established in the year 1972 with the aim of creating a distinct entity  in commerce education in the entire north bank of the Brahmaputra. The college has a success story of producing a number of Chartered Accountants, Consultants, Lawyers, Academicians and other proessionals. The aim of the college is to enable the students to face the bigger challenges of the world and thus make life worth living for them.

The UGC approved introduction of vocational courses at college in three subject’s viz. Computer Application, Office Management and Secretarial Practice and Tax Procedure and Practice. The Dibrugarh University allowed permission for running a contact centre of distance education with three subjects Viz. Commerce, Economics & Assamese.
