L.R. Institute of Engineering and Technology (LRIET), Solan was established in 2008.
LR Engineering and Technology was established in 2008 and is unique in itself as it is the result of self-help movement . It is located in the suburb of Solan and is providing excellent services in the field of Engineering & Technology. The institute was earlier affiliated to H.P. University (HPU) and after the formation of HP Technical University, Hamirpur, in 2011, now it is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) and also recognized by AICTE New Delhi, since its formation in 2008.
Institutes have its own placement cell headed by experienced Training and Placement staff. The institute provides campus placement assistance for all the qualified students of all courses.
