L. J. Institute of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad was established in 2004.

Its affiliated to Gujarat Technological University.

The college is situated in a sprawling 2.5 acre complex on the Gandhinagar-Sarkhej highway.

L.J. Institute of Pharmacy is self financed and run by the Lok Jagruti (LJ) Kendra. LJ Kendra is very well known for its high level of commitment to the cause of education in Gujarat. Shri Peerzada and Shri Manish Shah are one of the major forces behind the activities of the LJ Kendra).

L.J. Institute of Pharmacy is taking rapid strides under the able guidance of Dr.Pundarikashadu one of the doyens of R & D activities in the field of herbal drugs in India. Dr.Pundarikashadu is assisted by a qualified and dedicated faculty.

The faculty is a unique blend of experience and youth. The college has all the educational facilities as per the AICTE regulations.

LJ Institute of Pharmacy is fully approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. L.J. Institute of Pharmacy is affiliated to Gujarat University.

L.J. Institute of Pharmacy acts as a center of Gujarat University and follow the schedules of the university department for academic and operational purposes.

The institute's pharmacy programme has been approved by the All India council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
