Krishna Hospital, Cuddalore was established in 1968 by Dr.K.Krishnamurthy, MD., and smt. Lakshmi Krishnamurthy. Krishna Hospital is a unit of Krishna Hospital & Research Foundation a non-profit organization registered under the Tamilnadu. The main objective of the Institute is to provide affordable advanced medical care on various specialties. Krishna Hospital also provides free and concessional treatment to the needy and runs two rural health centers for the benefit of the rural poor. Any income accrued is ploughed back to improve and add additional facilities and services in the Hospital. The Institute is recognized by the Government of India as a charitable institution.
