Kr. R.C. Mahila P. G College, Mainpuri was established in 1981. The College is affiliated to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University. It has been managed by Ram Chandra Lalji Trust with the aim of enhancement of women education. The seeds, sown by the trust blossomed into a fine shape and spraeding its fragrance all around. To develop the multifarious personality of the female students, the college adopts the ancient trend of "Gurukul Pattern" with the modern trend of advancement and latest techniques.

The college has become one of the prominent institutions of U.P. Specially in the Agra Region in a very short period. The dreams of Late Kr. Rajendra Singh his wife Late Smt. Damyanti Bai Kushwaha, Shri Jitendra Singh Kushwaha, Late Dr. Dinesh Jayant and Late Shri Mahavir Prasad Shah came true by their sincere efforts, dedication and contribution and flourished by the active support and guidance of the present Secretary Kr. Balvir Singh Chauhan.

The college is giving new dimensions to Women Education in different faculties like Arts, Science, Home Science, Education and Computer Science. The collge is putting forward a new approach by providing guidance to the research scholars in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Sociology, Political Science, Music, Education and Home science.

Hostel facility with mess and reading room is available in the college campus. There is proper arrangment of reading room, Library, Sports and Indoor activities for the students. The students of the college are getting positions in different sports cultural activities and competitions at university, Region and National Level.

A beautiful campus with greenery, a well decorated building and religious environment of the college are enough for the students to create positivity and enthusiam for achieving thier goals.

Besides Academics studies, Awareness programmes, debates, Kavi-Sammelan, Essay and cultural programmes are organised in the college for the development of the personality of students.

The Study Centre of Indira Gandhi Open University (Central University which was established in 1985) was started in the college in May 2015. The University offers certificates, Diplomas, Advance Diploma, Associates Degree and Degrees, which are conventional as well as innovative. It emphasis on democratsing higher education by taking it to the doorsteps of the learners and provide access to high quality education to all those who seek it irrespective of age, religion and gender and offering need basic academic programmes and thus promoting and developing distance education in India.
