Koustuv Institute of Self Domain (KISD), Bhubaneswar was established in 2001 exclusively for women.

The institute is under Koustuv Group of Institutions (KGI), renowned education institutions for more than 12 years.

The engineering college is managed by Naba Diganta educational trust under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Er. Prabhat Ranjan Mallick.

Within a short period of ten years, it has emerged as one of the premier engineering colleges in the eastern part of the country.

The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, govt. of India and affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT) Rourkela, government of Odisha.

The main aim of the college is to provide quality technical education for employment, workforce development by partnering with industries in particular and the communities in general and to serve the nation by becoming a recognized hub of academic excellence focused on student’s career and workforce development through partnership with industries and the communities.
