KLR College of Engineering and Technology (KLRT), Khammam is a part of KLR Institutions was established in 1999.
With a commitment of providing higher education to this rural part of Khammam District, KLR Institutions, under the chairman ship of late Dr.K.Lakshma Reddy, has established variety of institutions right from school to PG College.
With an aim to work for higher education in emerging areas, Sri KLR has proposed to start the institution in the academic year 2008-09 with Electronic & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & IT Engineering departments.
The vision of the institute is to become a center for research and education in Electrical & Electronic, Automobile and Mechanical Engineering.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the Society is to impart academic and technical education to student community. The Society has been formed with no profit motto. The Society aims to educate people about green revolution resulting in clean and green ecology.
In the process of enhancing the services of the Society to the people, Society has recently reviewed its activities and found that the society has done a little in providing health and medical facilities to the people. To boost up the services related to health care, the society has resolved to establish a Medical College so that the speciality health care and proper diagnosis of the health problems, could be made available to the rural people in time and for meager charges.
The hidden idea of the Society in establishing the Medical College and teaching hospital at this rural place is to bring down the Specialist doctors to this rural area who are presently available only in urban areas. So, in furtherance of the said objectives, the Society would like to establish a Medical College at Paloncha, Khammam Dist of Andhra Pradesh, which is located amidst tribal area.
