Khalsa Institute of Management & Technology for Women (KIMT), Ludhiana was established in 1997 under the stewardship of Late Sardar Inder Mohan Singh Grewal.

The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology for Women, known as KIMT , is a constituent of the distinguished Khalsa Dewan Trust dedicated to the education of the girl child that runs a number of educational Institutes in Ludhiana. The Institute was established in 1997 with a view to promote excellence in computer application and thereafter management education to prepare young women to meet the challenges of the developing corporate world.

In a short span, the Institute has emerged as an excellent institute imparting professional skills to the students making them well equipped to serve as best managers for the nation.
