Kuriakose Gregorios College, Pampady (Dist. Kottayam) is Roman Catholic Christian Minority College was established on 14th September 1981 by St. Joseph’s Monastery, Mannanam and managed by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI)-(R)

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) on 4th February 2000 under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B++" Grade (CGPA Score 2.81 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 27th November 2017.

The aim of the college was at developing the physical, spiritual, intellectual, moral and aesthetic powers of the students so that they may transform themselves into intellectually trained, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired men and women.

It is a co-educational self-financed Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Kottayam played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college is named after their heavenly Patron, Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the Co-founder of the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), was their source of inspiration.

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the admission criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, and Management streams and two years of postgraduate courses in Science and Commerce with various specializations under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

It also offers Add-On course.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
