Kuriakose Gregorios College, Pampady (Dist. Kottayam) was commonly known as K.G. College, Pampady was established on 14th September 1981 and founded by celestial patron late lamented Metropolitan Kuriakose Mar Gregorios and managed by College Management.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) on 4th February 2000 under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B++" Grade (CGPA Score 2.81 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) in 2nd May 2017.

The aim of the college is upheld the true vision of our patron saint whose very life was a beacon of charity, compassion, and love for all also attempted to cater to the needs of the weaker sections of society.

It is a co-educational private Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the tribal part of Kottayam played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the admission criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams and offers two years postgraduate courses in Science and Commerce stream with various specializations under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

It also offers Ph.D., Diploma and Add-On Certificate courses.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
